ESTHAR
live
When ESTHAR plays live in concert, an intense atmosphere of warmth, presence and food for the soul is created. The energy that arises with the audience is the driving force to create these unique experiences again and again!
The lyrics are Danish and English and the musical universe has roots in music from all corners of the world, which is gathered at the core with exciting notes from World, rhythm&blues and a very personal tone that will remind you of native & roots music.
Behind the name ESTHARlive is singer and multi-artist Esthar Rose. She is a powerhouse who loves to embrace all aspects of life - she does so with physical presence and heartfelt strength in her music. Esthar's singing ideals range widely from raw fervor as in gospel and gypsy singing to the more theatrical expression of performers such as Tom Waits and Patti Smith.
ESTHARlive is the result of a year-long collaboration between Esthar Rose and producer and multi-instrumentalist Mads Horsbøl (read more about Mads at www.madshorsboel.com ).
Under the name Balliancen, they have been writing songs and playing concerts together for more than 10 years. Songs that, with humor, warmth and madness, insist that life be lived vividly and vulnerable.
